Classy magazine vs. Happie Nuts magazine Scans

Some early week diversions I wanted to share!

**SUPER PIC HEAVY**

So I ran across this magazine and was curious...I haven't heard of it before, but it is a Japanese magazine called CLASSY that seems to be geared towards women in their 20s-30s. (Or maybe gals who like to keep it classy ~ ;)

I'm trying nowadays to dress more 'my age' (27 coming up this week!) - but this doesn't mean compromising fun or my love of hime! This magazine gave me a lot of good ideas on how to dress sexy, confident yet appropriate for my age!

I also took a peek at Happie Nuts since I have owned a copy of this magazine in the past...the girls in this magazine seem younger (late teens - mid 20s) and are really into the blonde hair and skimpy clothes. :) I like the fun & daring attitude, but at the same time, the clothing kind of screams "streetwalker" to me. :P

My favorite page was the one with the yummy pink Chanel purse!

Something about these girls just doesn't seem...real. They look like sexy asian Barbie dolls!

Their hair section is incredibly involved - I don't think I have the hair or time to pull these looks off - though they are very very cute!

~They included this cute little section at the end!~

Totally different styles and to some extent, extremes!!!

I recently purchased the Tropical Escape Floral babydoll from the Lauren Conrad line at Kohl's...love it matched with a pair of boyfriend shorts. :)

I also love the style of fellow blogettes Extra Petite and ReallyPetite

Speaking of which, Extra Petite will be running a giveaway for a gorgeous silk blouse!

I just love Janpanese magazines. They are always such a treat to simply look at. And the models are always so adorable.

Hey Irene,

I can totally see what you mean by the two mags being polar opposites!!

Oh happy birthday! =) I hope you have a great day! <3

Can't wait for the dolly wink review! I've been tempted to purchase some of their products recently but I'd have to pay lots for shipping =S Almost as much as the product itself so hopefully you can tell me if the quality of the product is worth it!! =)

Hi. I am a new follwer =).

But recently just been wanting to try beauty products from Asia. Something about their packaging is soo cute. I swap on makeupalley so I always get samples of Asian beauty products. I see that you live in Tx too..do you know where I can get my hands on some good stuff? I will be visiting Houston in 2 weeks and staying there all summer long. Maybe I'll be in luck there.

I want to get my hands on their magazines too. I don't want to download em. Any suggestions?

I've tried searching up but I get all these results to blogs in japanese...

BTW I do agree with the barbie look LOL. They're still hot. My friend visited Shibuya/Tokyo 2 years ago. She told me they really do look like dolls. She even took pics with them. They all had BIG poofy hair. I wonder how long it takes to tease it.

It's amazing how much the double-eyelid surgery can really transform a person's look. I really did used to think those girls eyes were really like that. I used to envy Japanese eyes..but it's fake =/.

yay, we're the same age! doesn't it suck? :P
i totally agree, the first magazine pics seem much more sophisticated and work appropriate, while the others definitely have more a younger, club vibe going on. How come the models always have the exact same shade of hair?

I like both magazines. I still wear my piercings & want tattoos, also love my destroyed denim & miss my bleach blonde hair... but I love having dark hair & having that mature looks. It's like.. the battle between young & mature. lol

Those look like some fun mags! I think "Classy" is more my thing. Thank you for taking the time to share these scans with us. :D And I love your babydoll top! I checked out LC's line for the first time recently and found it to be pretty nice. I came away with my first purpose: a black ruffled skirt. ;)

Anyways... these magazines look really nice. I've seen Classy before but not Happie Nuts. Happie Nuts sounds so funny. {*haha} Thanks for sharing these though! I really like the outfits in these magazines. It's still chic and fashionable while mature at the same time.
